INCASE organizes on May 29th in Gent (Belgium) a conference day on

“Networked Control & Automation 4.0”.

The conference day features a market place with 10+ stands of leading automation suppliers and 2 parallel tracks of lectures on state of the art technologies.

One track is on “industrial data communication”, focusing on PROFINET industrial networks: modern diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, technologies to provide safety, redundancy and energy savings, IO-Link technology to connect intelligent sensors with one single cable, etc.

ProfiCloud, MQTT and OPC UA connections to the Cloud are presented.

An industrial tool for analyzing (Cloud) data to optimize processes, detect anomalies and organize preventive maintenance is presented.

The second track is on “integrated design”, focusing on code generation, co-simulation and virtual commissioning: producing program code for your PLC or other hardware target from high-end MATLAB or Simulink designs, integrating CAD and system dynamics using Siemens NX, digital twin technology, etc.
